Climate protection in special crops and other landscape settings

This broad topic area describes various points of contact that deal with climate protection in different landscape settings from different perspectives. In addition to climate protection in viticulture, this includes the CO2 sequestration of urban trees, but also the improvement of the inner-city climate. In the case of agri-photovoltaic systems, the focus is on the dual use of agricultural land and the potential added value through the preservation and promotion of functional biodiversity in these systems, in the sense of the expansion of renewable energies. Economic activities in rural areas, including those outside forestry and agriculture, must face the challenge of mitigating greenhouse gas emissions. The small water bodies considered here are located in the agricultural landscape, the focus is on raising the water level.
